Ming Dynasty Shanxi Taiyuan official Wang Qiong
Wang Qiong (courtesy name De Hua, alias Jinxi), a Ming Dynasty official, was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi. At the age of eight, she had read through the Historical Records. In 1484, she entered the Ministry of Works as a jinshi. A year later, she was promoted to be the head of the Ministry of Works.
